I am doing a research paper on the invention of automobiles (cars), and I am wondering if anyone knows about the technology available before cars were made? If not, does anyone know of a good website to help me out on this? Thanks.

    I think there are sites called “the history of the automobile” covering transport prior to the automobile including steam engines and horsecart transport
