    he stole a car when he was a teenager, and House always bothers him about it because he says it just fits the stereotype perfectly

    Foreman used to be a bit of a bad ass before he cleaned his act up.
    As far as I can recall, he got arrested for stealing a car with his gang, and after that his mom told him to straighten out.
    There’s an episode where he looks after his brother or cousin’s son, and sees what he could have been if he didn’t do what he did.
    Wikipedia might prove useful, type in the character’s name.

    When Foreman was a teenager he stole a car. He was in juvi for a while too. This is why House always says he fits the stereotype and has Foreman go when they break into houses.
